The business of contributing towards saving and touching lives is a full time job for Ghana’s first lady Rebecca Akufo- Addo. She does it with so much passion, typically representative of her person as the mother of the nation that places a lot of premium on mothers and children.

 It is in this regard that two healthcare centers in the Krachi Nchumuru district and the Nkwanta North district Kpassa have yet again benefitted from the First Lady’s chest of life saving equipment donated by the Rebecca Foundation.

The equipments included nose masks, walking aids, complete delivery systems, boxes of advanced wound dressing materials, consumables for surgery, theater beds, among other things.

The combined presentation was done on behalf of the First lady by the assistant operations director of the Rebecca foundation, Perpetual Asante.

Present were the chiefs of Krachi Nchumuru district and Nkwanta North district kpassa, as well as priest from the Catholic Church, DCEs among others.

Some patients who were identified as not being capable to settle their hospital bills ,had their bills paid and discharged.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Kpassa hospital, Dr Jerry Swaniker used the occasion to express his sincerest gratitude to the Rebecca Foundation for the contribution, adding that the donations will go a long way in helping them work effectively

Also taking his turn at the donation ceremony, the administrative manager of Diocesan health service, James Mamiba Lapon, also expressed his profound gratitude to the foundation. He added that the items donated will be used for its intended purposes

The assistant operation director of the Rebecca Foundation urged every individual to extend same act of benevolence to the needy society.

The Rebecca Foundation has since its establishment championed the health needs of mothers and children in the country
