Samuel  Abbey-Ashie Quaye is available for selection after serving his mandatory suspension in the Black Meteors’ opening game of the 2023 TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Accra Great Olympics FC player has been cleared to play in Ghana’s second Group match against Morocco and the subsequent matches in the tournament.

The left-back was suspended after receiving two yellow cards in the qualification stage of the competition ruling him out of the opening game against Congo on Sunday.

His return is a huge boost to Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side as they take on the tournament hosts on Tuesday evening at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Both teams won their opening Group A matches and a win for either side could boost their chances of qualifying to the semi-finals stage.

After Tuesday’s game, Ghana will travel to Tangier where they will face Guinea in the last group match on Friday, June 30.
