Hon Kusi Boadum the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sunyani West has on Tuesday inspected construction works on the new Assembly building being undertaken in the Municipality.

According to him, the inspection was to ensure that the contractor working on the project execute timely and did an excellent job, where he charged executors of the project to expedite actions in order to complete the project on schedule.

“If you award contracts for execution and you do not supervise, visit or manage the contracts properly, anything can be done and handed over to you. Frequently, I will visit project sites to know what goes on,” he said.

The MCE expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of work being executed on the project and commended the workers.

 

 

In attendance were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Head of Works Department, Budget Officer, and other staff of the assembly.

The contractor in his remarks assured the MCE and his staff of handing over the facility in no time hence 96% of the project has been completed.
