The Old Tafo Municipal Assembly led by MCE Hon Lord Inusah Lansah has today 29th June 2022 cut sod for the upgrading of 269 meters Arizona road, 114 meters Abed roundabout road, and 446 meters Richard Appiah road at Pankorono.

At Santan, a community within the Tafo Municipality, sod was cut to construct a 3.5 X 1.5-meter storm drain 138 meters long to connect households and control flooding.

These projects according to the report are being funded by the Ghana Secretary Cities Support Program (GSCSP)

Hon Lord Inusah Lansah, the MCE in his keynote address expressed joy and appreciation to president Akuffo Addo for selecting the Tafo Assembly to be the beneficiary of the program.

And therefore promised his commitment to ensuring value for money.

The MCE assured that the project will be completed within the next eight-month to serve its purpose

He also promise that some know similar challenges will also be tackled through the support of the program in the years ahead

However, the Nana Agyen Frimpong Derkyi, the Ankobiahene of the Tafo Traditional Council who chaired the program, urged the contractors for the projects to do clean work while speeding up their operations to complete the contract on time.
