Vanuatus Trade Commissioner to Ghana, Prof Hugh K Aryee has indicated that the country (Vanuatus) is ready to partner with Ghana to strengthen their relationship in the promotion of trade, tourism and sports for the betterment of these two countries and west Africa at large.

He explained that the Speaker of Parliament of Vanuatus issued a letter that has been submitted to Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament seeking to have a bilateral trade agreement for easy business between these nations.

The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin also assured that Ghana would do everything within the law to make sure that, requests by the government of Vanuatus are considered and further assured that, the committee on trade and industry in Ghana’s Parliament would be charged to work on the proposal.

Ambassador Hugh Aryee made these known to the media in Parliament soon after their engagement with the Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament when he paid a courtesy call on Mr. Bagbin.
