The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has opened the 3rd edition of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues series in Accra.

The Africa Prosperity Dialogues aims at providing a platform that facilitates practical discussions and fosters collaboration that can deliver Africa’s single market through infrastructure.

Delivering her key note address, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang commended African Prosperity Network organisers of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues for bringing together voices from diverse sectors, trade, industry, banking to ensure Africa’s single market is inclusive and representative.

 

According to her, in order for Africa to realize her dream of a single market, Africa must prioritize infrastructure development such as robust road energy.

Professor Opoku Agyemang opined that the government is committed to investing roads and railway networks to connect key economic zones.

She further asked leaders from the continent to forge stronger partnerships with the private sector, adding that Africans must recognize that there is much more remains to be done across the continent with regards to Africa single market.
