Vice President Bawumia on Wednesday 1st June 2022  inaugurated a US$50 million Bulk Supply Point (BSP) at Kasoa in the Central region.

The 435-mega volts amperes (MVA) facility is managed by the Ghana Grid Company( GRIDCO) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). It is aimed at serving the ever-growing Kasoa community and its surroundings as well as Senya Breku, Bawjiase, and Nyannyano among others to reduce power outages and ensure constant power.
