The Ghana Health Service says the only thing that will not make government extend the partial lockdown after the 14 day duration is for Ghanaians to strictly observe the lockdown rules by staying at home and keeping a social distance to stop the spread of the deadly corona virus.

According to the health authorities,the only reason for the lockdown is to prevent the spread of the disease and so if at the end of the day no more cases and deaths are recorded,then every human restrictions and business barriers will be removed.

Director of Public Health at the GHS Dr. Badu Sarkodie who made this known said every Ghanaian has to play his or her respective duties by washing the hands with soap and running water frequently,using hand sanitizers,avoid hands shaking and above all keeping a social distance to help fight the pandemic.

Dr Badu Sarkodie gave the advise when he joined Crisis Management Company, LCB Worldwide Ghana Limited,a company that does disinfection and fumigation at our ports of entry and exit to fumigate the ministry of foreign affairs and regional integration and also the ministry of defense all in Accra to help in the fight against the covid 19 virus.

According to Dr Badu Sarkodie,the disinfection exercise will also be carried at various government ministries and agencies.

CEO of Crisis Management Company, LCB Worldwide Ghana Limited Mr Kareem Abu said the disinfection exercise forms part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and has planned of carrying the exercise to other parts of the region to help in the fight against the virus.
