On Monday, 29th August 2022, I inspected the ongoing works at the Appiatse community reconstruction site in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality. Work was progressing steadily.

The assurance from the government to reconstruct the affected structures into a befitting rural model is rightly on course. I was very glad of the support received so far from well-meaning Ghanaians who felt the pain of the good people of Appiatse and out of benevolence came to their aid. I was happy to note that, the affected people will soon move from the temporal structure to occupy the new establishments to rekindle hopes alive.
