2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of The Year, Eugene Marfo known as Kuami Eugene has said that it would not come as a surprise if he is crowned Artiste of The Year at this year’s edition.
While speaking in an interview, the Angela hitmaker said it would not be news if he should be crowned Artiste of The Year at the 2021 edition of the VGMAs.
He stated that most of the songs being enjoyed by Ghanaians have the Kuami Eugene effect, as well as the fact that he has been playing a lot of shows despite the existence of COVID-19.
The artiste added that after the release of back-to-back hit songs his numbers kept growing as well as topping charts.
The 22 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is scheduled on Friday 25th June to Saturday 26th June, 2021.
