The Ghana Health Service and Ghana Education Service over the years has been educating the youth on adolescent health to equip the young people for sustainable development.

This year the Adolescent Health Ambassadors is currently ongoing at the in University of Ghana on the theme: Equipping Young People As Health Ambassadors for Sustainable Development.

Speaking to the Director, Family Health Division, Dr Patrick Aboagye, he said since the introduction of the program in 2017 it has contributed immersely to the dissemination of information about adolescent health and also given the young ones the opportunity learn about adolescent health through the various club in their various Schools.

Dr Aboagye indicated that through the program it has empower the young people to be assertive for them not to be deceived by anyone and to have a better future.
