The Ghana Cocobod today took delivery of 1.2 million pieces of medicated hand washing soap which is to be distributed to all Cocoa farmers from ECOM Ghana as part of their contribution towards the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Speaking to the country manager, ECOM Ghana, Mr Muhammadu Muzzammil he said they are supporting the government and the Cocoa farmers in Ghana and they believe 1.2 million soaps will save 1.2 million families by practicing the protocols in preventing the disease.

The Chief Executive Officer, Ghana Cocobod, Mr Joseph Boahen Aidoo indicated that the soaps are going to be distributed as soon as possible to the 1.2 million Cocoa farmers across the country.

Mr Boahen Aidoo was grateful for the partnership with Ghana Cocobod to eradicate the Coronavirus and also protect Cocoa farmers.
