The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong fulfilled his promised made on NET2TV’s current affairs show ”The Seat” by donating 3,000 nose masks to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital to be used by the frontline health workers.

Following a brief presentation ceremony, in an interview with the media urged all Ghanaians to be careful as the virus is on a rapid spread. He further advised that victims of the virus should not be stigmatised.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong also discouraged the patronage of mass public transport in order to curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital was Dr. Emmanuel Srofenyoh who in return expressed his gratitude to Hon. Ken Agyapong for his kind gesture.

The Clinical Director-of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Dr. Armah taking his turn also expressed his appreciation and indicated that a number of the mask will be sent to the COVID centre.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong further mentioned that more of the mask would be given out to the health workers next week.
