In line with His Excellency the President’s admonishment on the public wearing of face masks ,Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon through her “ I CARE, STAY SAFE” Campaign has distributed about 20,000 masks across communities in her Constituency.

In order to extend this exercise to more constituents to help stop the spread of the virus, she has acquired sewing machines and commissioned 20 dressmakers in her constituency to help produce 50,000 nose masks with the specifications outlined by the Food and Drugs Authority .

The dressmakers have also been provided with the prescribed FDA material for the production as well as other necessary materials.

Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan has reiterated her confidence in the local human resource potential, her constituents and the nation at large present as we battle COVID-19.
